Sarah Micho is an award-winning bilingual English and French writer and global strategist, originally from Montreal. Globally minded and culturally curious, Sarah lived, worked and studied abroad in Paris, France, from 2021 to 2024.
Throughout her career, she has worked with international teams in NORTHAM, EMEA and APAC markets in various sectors from luxury fashion, media, to non-profit and tech. Her skillset and expertise include communications, PR, marketing, digital strategy and branding. Prior to living in Paris, she worked in Calgary, Alberta, Canada's arts and culture non-profit sector.
A published writer, Sarah's words have been featured in CBC, The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Elle, Teen Vogue and more. She has collaborated on content projects with brands such as Condé Nast, Global Citizen, Refinery29 France, GOODEE and Canada Media Fund.
Passionate about diversity, culture and creativity, she is a Board Member on several boards, advocating for inclusion and creating opportunities for career progression in her community.
Today, Sarah works for Greenpeace Canada as a communications officer, campaigning for issues related to nature and biodiversity, climate justice and environmental policy, advocating for a greener and more sustainable world. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and studied Fashion Design & Technology in Paris, France.
In October 2025, Sarah was named Canada’s Top 100 Black Women to Watch by CIBWE (Canada International Black Women Excellence) and awarded the Promising Youth award for her outstanding contributions and potential in leadership, professional growth and community engagement, inspiring peers and future generations.
